โ€œDual Diagnosis
Co-existence of both Mental Health and Substance Misuse Problems for an individual"
(Mac Gabhann et al 2004)

Workshops are for care provider professionals, people with dual diagnosis experiences (self and/or family) and any other community member with a desire to learn more about how people, communities and services can respond to mental health and substance misuse problems in their community. Ideally
participants will be working and/or living in Cabra or Finglas

There was some interesting discussions at the dialogue around the issue of Dual Diagnosis. However, there was a consensus that it would be useful to try and reach a wider variety of community members to attend the meetings and share their views. Ideally, we would have a balance of perspectives from professionals, service providers, family members and most importantly people with lived experience.

If you wish to attend, we would be grateful if you could
